SHARPN (‘we’ and ‘us’) is a trading name of SHARPN Limited. SHARPN is the data controller of all personal data held and processed by us. 

Using your personal information

When you request access to our services, we’ll collect some of your personal details, to make sure you have everything you need to make the most of our services. We may also contact you from time to time with information about our services or other topics that may be of interest to you.

Keeping and storing your data

If you’re a current or past customer, we’ll keep a copy of your personal details for no longer than 6 years from the end of our relationship with you. This helps us to keep accurate records for tax purposes, and to handle any future complaints. We use Mailchimp to store our marketing lists and Webflow to host and maintain our website. Both store their data in the US but certify to the Privacy Shield framework, so can lawfully receive EU data. 

Our customer management platform hosts its data in the UK.

Sharing your data with third parties

We respect your privacy and that’s why we don’t share any data with third parties for marketing purposes. However, we may pass your information to a limited number of third parties for the following reasons:

To deliver any services you’ve asked for

For legal or regulatory purposes including fraud prevention

If we buy or sell any business or company assets

Marketing preferences

Nobody likes too much marketing. We only want to talk to you if you want to hear from us and we will not contact you very often. You’ll be able to unsubscribe at any time by contacting us using the details in the Contact Us section. You’ll also find the usual Unsubscribe link in every marketing email we send to you.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you at any time and we will arrange for a copy to be issued to you, free of charge, within 30 days. We will ask you for proof of your identity before we disclose any information. If you believe that the information we hold about you is incorrect you can ask for it to be corrected.

If you believe we are processing your personal information without a legal basis, you can ask us to stop. You can also ask us to delete your personal information from our systems.

You can also request for your personal data to be transferred to a new provider on your behalf.
